What the hell - I'll install it on my much beloved Windows XP machine. Meets all the requirements.

Yeah. I think it'll be fine with 512MB RAM and a 3Ghz processor, so I'm going to install it today if everything's well and good.

1) if you dont know you shouldn't have longhorn in the first place

2) official beta testers know the requirements

3) don't ask for help on a public forum, you can easily use google if you wanna install your illegal copy.

bill gates said in one of the interviews i forget longhorn will prob be running on 6 ghz processor 2 gb ram 5 gb hdd 512 mb ram video card (recommended)

but now 6 ghz is out of the question. its prob gonna be a dual core 3.4 ghz prescott.

I agree partially. This thread was inactive for some time until someone posted again, not blaming them tor anything but I want this thread to die away. I think my WinXP machine will take LH so I'm trying and have done much research into the topic over the last couple of weeks.

Oh. I think you might mean the final build of LH. Yeah, my computers won't be able to take that. :)
