WTF Hotmail no longer allows access from Outlook?

Just created my self another email account, and when adding to outlook i got a pop up telling me that Hotmail no longer allows email access from Outlook on free accounts, whats the point in that....

You will have to sign up for Hotmail Plus or Premium in order to get it to work...

well i'm sure that'll do ms a load of good, given that google is considering straightforward pop access to gmail... ! ! ! :)

You can give a big hand shake and hugs all round to the spammers and or/other cretins that abused hotmail. :angry:

This is why it can't be used via outlook express.

In 2005 when they get rid of it for current free users that will be the day I say goodbye to Hotmail forever :)

I have a Rogers Yahoo account and it has 2GB of space, no ads and pop access. I love it.
