its strange the details are sketchy. There must have been more than one person in the recording studio that can confirm this story. If they say its a lie then....a setup?

Theres alot of sick people in this world full of envy that will do anything to get you.

shoplifting

drug offences

Some of us we're grown in poor families and as a kid when we wanted something we werent spoiled, we had to sell(hustle) stuff to get it. No, with 11 years old we cant get a job. Get over it. 1000s of people do it.

threatening a former girlfriend
Eminem does it too. Rappers say they'll smack a bitch. If you found your girl sleeping with another guy wouldnt you get ****ed off and lay random threats?
In 2001 he was jailed for two years for possessing drugs and escaping from a rehab clinic

See the drug offences for the first one

Hell if you was in jail/rehab clinic too youd think of ways to escape or if a door was wide open youd take it.

Says it all I think.

No i think IVE said it all.

RIP ODB. Youll always be remembered man. Say hi to Pac/Big.

First things first man you're ****in with the worst

I'll be stickin pins in your head like a ****in nurse

I'll attack any n**ga who's slack in his mack

Come fully packed with a fat rugged stack

Shame on you when you stepped through to

The Ol Dirty ****** straight from the Brooklyn Zoo

And I'll be damned if I let any man

Come to my center, you enter, the winter

Straight up and down that **** packed jam

You can't slam, don't let me get fool on him man

The Ol Dirty ****** is dirty and stinkin

Ason, Unique rollin with the night of the creeps

<< racial epithet >>z be rollin with a stash

ain't sayin cash, bite my style I'll bite your mother****in ass!

Maybe I am going a little to far back for some members, but that is ODB's verse off of the Wu's first single, "Protect Ya Neck." When I first heard it, I knew ODB was an instant classic. And I will admit it does not do the rhyme justice just reading it, his delivery and voice was everything.

I was lucky enough to see the Wu perform that single, along with what turned out to be almost every song from Enter The 36 Chambers... in Washington Square Park (at one of the smoke-outs), with Method Man holding a boom box playing the instrumentals for the songs. All for free in the true spirit of HipHop, just a crew around a boom box spitting their songs. This was when they were still "unknowns," although it was about 2 weeks after "Protect Ya Neck" was played for the first time on the Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito Show (89 Tech 9 WKCR) when I lived in NYC for school.

ALL I remember about that performance was ODB, which because they were all still "unkknowns" I didn't even know who he was at the time, but he had such a unique character and flow he stood out among all of them even then.

A sad loss. A truly unique individual. RIP my man.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.

    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
