timmay i think you should buy the retail copy and yes it will run and you can play... but if you buy retail you still have it for when you have a very good pc to play it in, because trust me .. i see this game lasting a good 7 years like the first half life has :) mods for all!!! unless half life 3 comes b4 that time :)
