Shadrack
I remember reading that as well, but it doesn't seem to be supported by microsoft. It can be done with VNC Server on your Windows box, and a Pocket PC compatible VNC Viewer... however I've never tried it over the activesync cable. In order to use VNC you have to have a TCP/IP network between your devices. I'm not sure how to do that over an activesync cable, just bluetooth and wifi. But I'm sure there is a way. Just out of curiosity, why would you even want to? It isn't like the activesync cord is very long, and the windows desktop is kinda cumbersome to control from your pocket pc. Since you are going to be so close to your laptop anyway, why not just use your laptop?
