Ipod clone, crap or not?

Medion AG brings a MP3 player with a 20 GB hdd for only 199 Euro's. The player, called Medion MD95200, is a copy of Apple's Ipod. It even has the clickwheel. The Ipod Clone isn't just a cheap copy though. It has some features that the Ipod lacks. It supports SD/MMC memorycards, the battery can be easily replaced and it's got usb-to-go (which means you can save your digi photos on it without using a pc).

Only problem is, it was totally build out of plastic.

What do you guys think of this? Has anybody seen or use it yet? (It's only sold in Germany, for now)

Read a German review here.

I agree this Ipod clone is very cheap and nasty! and i work for Medion Tech Support!

Its not aimed at the high end market, rather the much lower end

The product retails in stores like Aldi and Lidl

However we have some really good products! Check out the PDA's all with GPS built in

And some of the PC's are very good spec, and i can vouch that the internal parts are known Brands. eg all motherboards are MSI.

Yes I agree... PDAs and PCs by medion are great... cheap but still quality... But this is something medion shouldn't have done... bad move IMO and I still think it's fugly :p

iRiver products are garbage? I could very well start a flame war here! You ignorant little prick.

I respect both Apple and iRiver, so I'm not going to bother hijacking a thread to prove to one fool that neither player is bull****.

Eugh. Go home. :/

that is a disgrace.... dont be poor get the real thing not that pos same goes for i river products.... garbage

okay I'm a iPod user, but what you said was GARBAGE.

I won't even get to how superior iRiver is in terms of battery and functionality, and I don't see how you can relate iRiver to iPod.

They don't even look similar.

BTW, that one really looks bad.

    • So you think I voted out because i am anti-immigrant. I am fed up with those that come over and think that we owe them something. The ones that are at the moment coming over from France where they are already in a safe country because they think and no doubt will get everything chucked at them. While people who were born and bred here get very little. I have nothing against as i have said before those that come here and work. In fact I know full well that our NHS would struggle without them. I do have a problem with those that come over here and try to push their religion and their way of life onto us. My reasons for voting out was because of what the E.U is and is also becoming. I did not agree with Freedom of movement, not because I don't want people over here, but because people need to be checked before being allowed to cross borders and that goes both ways. But my main thing was because the E.U is becoming if not already a united states of Europe. The only reason countries like Poland and Romania joined was because they had no money. When my partner left Poland, she had nothing, Poland had nothing, that is why she left. Wanted to learn something and earn a living. The E.U would have us back according to Michel Barnier. https://www.euronews.com/my-eu...ator-barnier-tells-euronews Why are you so scared to say what country you are in?
