xXTOKERXx Posted December 7, 2004 Share Posted December 7, 2004 Grrr. basically a friend is trying to update his old bios. he has found this http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios...?UID=121&kind=1 and has downloaded, however it says turn on the computer and by pass certain files, which confuses both me and him.. My sugesstion was take the .exe and place it on a floppy, and put the floopy as boot option one.. he is currently doing this.. however when i see this other gibberish about bypass certain files to setup i got confused and was wondering if some one could offer some support on this.
