Viserov
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with 16x Verbatim DVD+R media? Here is what I'm talking about: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/product...cs=19&c=us&l=en

Viserov
Well, I do trust their other blank DVD media, but with 16x media being fairly new, I was hoping someone could say if these were worth buying?
eevoo
I tried one just the other day. I say one cause it came with a new burner and I wanted to test it out. Worked perfect. That's about all I can say about it, it either works or it doesn't. ;) I would buy them, that's for sure.
gummyz
From what I know Verbatim DataLife Plus is the kind that's the top quality. If this is rated at 16X, I trust Verbatim and it should work fine. If you are really worried about the quality of the burn, burn at a lower speed if possible. The most important thing is who is the media made by and not who branded it. I burn all my media at lower speeds than what the package says. I don't mind burning 2X if I know the quality of the burn is going to be absolutely perfect. In terms of quality media, I would say this is very good that should easily burn at 8X if you have a burner for that speed. Even some 4X media can be burned at 12X ;)
Viserov
Thanks for the reply... I've always trusted Verbatim and I think I'm going to order these 16x DVD's and give them a go. They're pretty cheap.
