The trio have been selected from an original shortlist of 35 players. The winner will be announced at FIFA's World Player Gala on December 20 in Zurich. I am happy however that Shevchenko won the European Player of the Year Award. Ukraine is going to do well in World Cup 2006, I can feel it!
