xe9rox Posted December 21, 2004 Share Posted December 21, 2004 so, when im in the menu, everything is ok, fps at 100, but the moment i connect to a server, the fps locks at 30(in-game too).... :huh: res 1024*768 settings maxed out....., opengl ofcourse, when i enabled vertical sync, the menu fps locked at 60, but the same in-game anyone know of this? (ow, and dont start bitchin that who playes cs 1.6 anymore, i play, cuz the gameplay is much better than in source) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

acoustikrage Posted December 21, 2004 Share Posted December 21, 2004 (edited) um...why?! the higher the settings, the lower fps you'll get. play at a lower resolution, 6**x4** (i can't remember off the top of my head), turn off antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, and vertical sync. in CS, type rate 9999, fps_max 101, fps_modem 101, cl_update rate 9999, that's all i can think of for now. that'll give you better fps for sure.
