shafi Posted December 27, 2004 Share Posted December 27, 2004 seatle has clinshed playoff (espn) http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/standings if the end of the season that miny(9-7 ), carolina(8-8), St. Louis(8-8) and seatle(8-8). espn said if carlina wins one more time there in the playoff. Also St. Louis would win the division since won twice in seatle. Can miny be in playoff with record above ? ChicoCahill Posted December 27, 2004 Share Posted December 27, 2004 if minnesota wins their in, seattle has clinched a spot because they beat both carolina and new orleans, now if st. louis wins both games against phily and the jets, which is highly unlikely, than they would win the division forcing the winner of the carolina-new orleans game out because seattle would have the wild card. but if the rams lose then minnesota clinched a playoff spot because only the winner of the car-n.o. game would get the other wild card.
