Nice dock! Please tell me where I can grab the icon set for the dashboard, trash bin and the finder that looks like a road crossing.

@haefft : Dashboard icon is HERE

But I couldn't remember where I got the trash icon and the finder icon was modded by me a little bit.

So if you want them, PM me (drop your email~)

I gotta say, buying a MacBook is becoming more and more tempting by just looking at some of these great desktop configurations.

I have been a Windows user for a good 6-7 years now and I am becoming bored of how featureless the desktop is with Windows XP. And after Vista's release... well lets just say I'm not going there.

I have seen one of my work colleagues with his MacBookPro, and I am really impressed with the intuitiveness of the desktop and features like Spotlight etc.

I don't think I can bring myself to walk into an official Apple store... it wouldn't be long before I splashed out on something.

Hi

why Mac Os not windows or linux ?

Regards

what's your point?

this thread is for Mac OS users... Windows and Linux users have their own "post your desktop" thread and there's a general one, too.

my question why this days all people preffered to use mac os like mac os 10

and leave windows ,i wont to know the benfit thats my question ?????

Translation: My question is, how come these days a lot of people prefer to use Mac OS X instead of Windows. I'm wondering, what are the benefits?

Answer: It's not necessarily that one OS is better than another, it's just that people like having choice and alternatives. The reasons that I prefer Mac OS X to Windows, the stability, the customizability, the design, etc. are my own and other people have different reasons for using the OS they use.

That said, here's my current November desktop...
