Oh, that is iStat menu.

I think he meant on the left of the "48?", which the flat line with the ' going around it in a half circle, which looks like the icon for the Mac's keyboard backlight, which looks like Lab Tick.

But I might be completely wrong:pp So ignore me if I am!

That didnt work for me :/

Stuck with this for now even after replacing the backed up files...

Replace the files, then turn off menu bar transparency in your settings, then log out and in again, enjoy.

thanks its working now :), but how did you get the other icons white?
I had the same question. Icons located at the right of menubar are also black and hard to see. How do you set them white.

thank you

I modified them one by one. Those icons are generally pdf files (yes, pdf) inside .menu files in your system folder.

Let me know if you bump into any trouble. Those pdfs can be a little tricky, specially the battery ones.

I'm really new to this. I tried opening the airport.menu with preview and it opens about 8 different windows. How do I change the color in them?

Thanks.

Right click on it and select show components, browse into the resources folder and edit the files using Illustrator, save them to a different folder, delete the ones in the .menu file and then place the edited ones.
