Saudi professor blames tsunami

In the religious world, its not uncommon to explain catastrophies by citing an "unclean" or "sinful" lifestyle.

Judaism - When the Persians sacked the Holy temple and displaced the Jews to Babylon, they cited that they had done something wrong in God's eyes.

Christianity - The arrival of the plague, and more recently September 11th. SOME Christian leaders felt it was a wake-up call for America. I strongly disagree with that as do others as well.

Hinduism - The untouchables. These people are the lowest class in India. Followers of this religion cite that past wrong-doings have resulted in the reincarnation of a peasant and thus these people are not to be helped.

I don't agree with some of these sentiments but keep in mind that diverse groups of people do hold these beliefs, not just followers of the Islamic religion. Let's try to be more tolerant in the future shall we?

The only reason earthquake happens is a sign of the this world ending. Earthquakes has been happening all across the world, it has nothing to do with GOD, Because GOD made it real clear he will puinsh the wicked , in his time, not anytime.

So the saudi professor needs to shut up, homeboy dont even know what he talking about.

Persians freed the jews from babylon. More specifically it was Cyrus who freed them.

then Persia became Islamic Republic of Iran and they lived happily ever after

back on topic

what else do you expect from a saudi professor? lol

Iran $1m and 221 tons of aid and medical team, Saudi Arabia $80m, Qatar has donated $25m, the United Arab Emirates $20m and Kuwait $10m.

this is a first, a jew calling others stingy..

are you serious? how is his jew comment still there?

people listen to yourselves. what does this have to do with Islam`? the guy is saying his personal beliefs. he is an idiot for thinking so but Islam didnt say that the tsunamis were to punish gays.

Important.

And that saudi is a moron. :x

I think we know what happened last time I tried to protect a group of people before anyone else had complained yet.

are you kidding? that was completely different. I wasn't being prejudice against another member and stereotyping an entire religion.

I don't know about their god, but my god loves his children no matter what. Even if we do things the are against his will he still loves you. Saying that a devine creator would kill his people because of their deeds is really wrong. The only case which I have seen this is in the Sadam and Gamora story.

do you mean to say that christians have a different God than others?

and if so how does your god justify what is written in the genesis 6?

"6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."

"6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die."

Here's a little hint for you... It's your opinion. That doesn't mean your word is the right one. God forbid someone has a different view than you do

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
