Deke_Kun Posted October 19, 2001 Share Posted October 19, 2001 i just installed my new sony 16/10/40 burner this morning and it doesnt seem to like xp. it only allows 4x burning. ive tried nearly everything to try and get it working properly. any help is greatly appreciated. More than likely you need to install the chipset drivers for XP (2k) and then you should have full 16X speed! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If so try going right clicking on the icon for your burner in "my computer" and select properties. Click on the tab for recording. Look for the info about recording speed.
