NEW YORK -- In his first public act as a New Yorker, pitcher Randy Johnson did not exactly shout, "Start spreading the news."

Instead, the new Yankee confronted a television news cameraman Monday, blocked his camera shot and reportedly told him, "Don't get in my face!"

"Regarding the unfortunate incident that happened this morning as I was on my way to a physical, I hope everyone will understand that the past few days have been a bit overwhelming and I wish I handled the situation differently. I'm very sorry it happened." :rolleyes: Very stressful and overwhelming! getting paid $48million over the next three years :rolleyes:

Good for hime, everyone deserves their privacy, even when you are in the spotlight. Some of the newscasters / cameramen out there are acting like its impossible to have a bad day and just not wanting to deal with people. The cameraman was obviously right up in his face. I can't say I wouldn't have acted the same exact way, or even worse. At least he was honest enough to say "Hey, i was having a rough day, i shouldn't have reacted that way" Paparazzi are the lowest forms of life on earth, worse than lawyers.

      Personally, I think these things are way over rated and way over priced, even at this price. I recently had Frontier Fiber installed with 2 of these devices and although they worked, I switched back to my own router and AP setup and get way better consistency on wireless speed than with Eeros. Wired speed seems to be more consistent also. Will be returning Eeros soon. I had told Frontier I didn't want them to begin with.

      Yes, exactly what I have been thinking. Don't make the context menu simpler, make it smarter to learn what I actually use. And then, give me the ability to pin settings that I rarely use but need forget where they are.

Later today, Geoff Keighley will be bringing the 2026 edition of Summer Game Fest live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the Summer Game Fest showcase livestream will be kicking off at 2 PM PT | 5 PM ET | 10 PM BST later today, June 5. The jam-packed show is slated to run for about two hours, with platforms like YouTube (4K at 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, or X being available for catching it.
