Yeah I think those brushed colors the mini's have would be puurrrrfect. Even a one line display like profets003 said would be nice. Maybe even on an external LCD part even...

This thing does not appeal to me... it probably costs Apple 10cents each + shipping :happy:

And it doesn't even have a screen... way better alternatives for flash players.

I really like the USB connection they show on the site, just plug it into the computer like a USB flash drive. Nice and clean!

my old mp3 player. smaller than the shuffle and has a display. it was only 256mb but it had space for a memory stick duo. loved it.

Yeh it has no screan due to there advertisement campaign "Give chance a chance". They want you to basically expect the unexpected..

But i wouldn't get one, if i did maybe a real iPod

I'm a big fan of apple stuff... it looks great and it has great functionality. but the shuffle really doesn't suit me. I like the price ($100 is excellent for a sweet looking 1GB apple mp3 player) but no screen? Its nice to say that it'll be fun and random and stuff but i really need a screen to make use of my ipod. i feel like listening to different type of music at different times... i dont want to scroll through over 200 songs for the one that I like. people will buy it because it's apple; it's a cheap ipod but i think few will really like it.

Never been a fan of the iPod - they make you buy music from their store only, and that's not healthy for competition. But there're many ignorant people who would buy that, even if it doen't have a display. Apple brand is all they care about.

I hope it fails they they relize its a stupid idea and actually put a screen on the flash iPod. I have an iPod. No grudge. But this thing is stupid.

The sony MPIO is good looking. I think thats what its called. Its blue, a little bit bigger than a quarter. I was looking forward to this, and though the USB thing is cool, it just looks so bad to me. :/

I'm sure they kept the screen off to up the battery life too, but I would hope an external LCD screen of one or two lines could be added.
