New iPod Shuffle, No colors?

Recommended Posts

So you believe everything listed on Apple's website. Gimme a break. You also believe that their G5's performance figures. hah  OWNED.

I know a lot of people here @ Neowin have iRiver players and love it. They dont go on trolling in every iPod thread like you. Maybe the mods should take this issue up.

Seriously, he trolls in EVERY iPod thread.

And hence you troll in EVERY iPod thread.

failure ? Granted it is not selling like hotcakes but is that what Apple intended when they set it a pricetag of $499. I think your take is ... Many people can afford $499 and hence it will should sell like hotcakes.

No, many people might share the same view with you but nobody's ****ed off like you and goes on trolling here.

I'm not going to bother dissecting this worthless excuse of a response, but I'm sure you made Jobs proud.

Once a thing of grace and coolness, the iPod now rests in the world of burberry and shell suits

Hearing you loud and clear Timmah, In my school, it's descended from the original glory days into the hands of those who shall never fully use them  .

Tell me about it.

If this had happened to any DAP it would have been a sad day. Now 12 year olds walk around the streets with 3 albums on their new toys. Competent player but the fashion statement says it all really.

Read the "iPod Influx" thread king_darko - sums it all up, there's some funny stories in there

lol another one of your lame comebacks :D I am not the one who gets paid by Steve Jobs nor I am ****ed off about iPod, I just cant stand ignorance & jealousy. ;)

240 is the number stated by Apple. 239 clicks away from that song!

I'd like to point out that the songs are not linearly organised; they are in a loop, meaning that if you are familiar with the general location of a song in the playlist (as you should be if you're using this player to begin with), and if shuffle mode is turned off (you would do this if you wanted to choose your tracks), "that" song is no more than 119 clicks away if my arithmetic serves me correctly.

This does not shatter your argument by any means, but it is of note to those who want an informed discussion.

No, thanks for clearing it up.

And jerry, I'm not jealous in the slightest. And I wouldn't class an opinion as being ignorant.

Its ashame that you cant be more open minded and stop being such a lil **** ant, heh.  Is it really that hard to make an educated opinion without interjecting your stereotypes ever other word.  Its really pathetic.  Look this product is meant for some people and not others.  Go with your iRiver, no one is stopping you.  People may want the shuffle or a regular but that doesnt make them bad people, its a difference of opinion. I bet that if this was a creative product or soemthing else, you wouldnt open your mouth and perhaps even be praising it, but because its apple, that makes it evil and something bad.  Get over it and accept that people have different needs and opinions.

It's funny how you cruely insult Timmah for having different opinion than yours, when you're preaching "open-mindedness"

He's criticizing iPod Shuffle with valid reasons and examples, and that is not considered "trolling" from what I've heard.

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
