What happend to the Golf then?

Still have my one ... 2001 1.9 GT TDI Golf in Met. Black. Nothing done to it though except attaching an anniversary rear boot spoiler and some subtle interior mods.

I sold it and bought the Corrado! The Golf TDI was a great car but firstly it ended up costing me a fortune (in both depreciation and repair costs) and I just got bored driving a car that you see about 20/30 times a day! I've had 2 previous Corrado's so this is my third and just love the looks, the way they drive etc etc.. a modern classic! :)

Citro?n LNA 11E (1985)

specifications :

* it's black

* 3.42 meters long

* 762Kg

* 1124cc four cylinders, 50HP

* nearly identical to a Peugeot 104Z, not that you'd know about that one either I guess

this is my first car, I've had it for two years, cost peanuts. good mechanical shape but extremly bad exterior, I wonder if it had a car wreck or two. very fuel efficient except on the highway (only four gears, top speed is 140km/h and legal speed limit is 130). I don't take the highway except if I'm late for something really important).

that car is not a big performer but I find it has enough power thanks to its lightness. Handling is good. No fluff like rev-meter, electrical windows, A/C etc., I don't need all of that:DD

Mods to do :

* fck'in washing it (I'm lazy)

* change the oil

* get a similar car but in much better shape when I can afford it. or maybe a Peugeot 104ZS which is the same but with a 1360cc 80HP engine, I guess it would be more fun (but I'd burn a bit more precious petroleum)

wasn't this car one of the first threads here in the autobhan?

i remember one of the specs being a factory built in radar/laser detector? or something like that.

awesome car.

Thanks. Yep, that's mine. I got it last year. It has integrated K40 radar detection and laser diffusing in it. I don't typically speed (too much) but on an open road in good conditions I've gotten it up to 140mph.

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
