Yeah that's it, roll over and give up because someone spoke out about your including somone elses (wallpaper, winamp skin) in with your port and not stating it wasn't your own.

Attack my integrity, I suppose rating 4-500 uploads a month means I haven't a clue what I'm talking about. Attack my age if you like, but I was born in '67, do the math.

The original theme is beautiful, the port was done well, if you give up it's your own fault.

it is quite obvious that redrope does neither give credit to the original creator of Seer (Essorant), nor did he ask him if he could use his design.

see: people are posting huge amounts of text on this forum. why not sending a mail to Essorant, telling him that you like his art, why you like his art, why you want to do a port/conversion and attach the skin and/or a screenshot of what you have done? what?s wrong with that? >

you call that a flame? sorry about that. maybe my first post could be taken as offensive, the second definetly not.

on the first: well, i do not really see a point in having three Seer EzPop skins. if you want to change it for your own needs, that is cool. but is there really a need to post it. Russ is a top notch skinner.

on the second: that redrope does not give credit to essorant is plain to see. i am sure he will do that next time. the main thing in the second post is, that you really should contact Essorant before you offer some stuff using his art. it is his creation, remember? as far as i know him he is a very nice and humble person, so why don?t you contact him first?

I wish that were possible, but unfortunately we're getting flamed by a couple of kids from the other side of the net. It's tough to deal with somebody when you can't even talk over the issue to their face. I wish there was someway we could fix this, but redrope doesn't want to deal with this anymore, and I agree with him. We really had a lot coming, but unfortunately people like these ruin it for the rest of the crowd. Sorry fellas.

Exactly... people get me sooo ****ed when they go on and on about how they feel about it. If they don't like what you did, then fine. The should say it. But then they shouldn't go on and on about it. They made their statement, we read how they feel... now shut it!. I personaly thought it was cool, and since the modifiers were going to include the credits and all that stuff in the final release, then people shouldn't be complaining.

We're not "giving up." Just sick and tired of having to put up with people like you. I'd much rather do something else than work hard on something just to hear it get criticized. We didn't include a winamp skin (?) or a wallpaper (?) so I'm confused on where you're going with that.

Rating 4-500 uploads a month? Attacking your integrity? Look, you got what you OBVIOUSLY wanted, and that was for us to discontinue the project because were weren't giving propper "credit." I don't think you've gotten the clue yet: I DONT CARE ABOUT WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU DO, AND WHERE YOU LIVE. WHATEVER YOU SAY IS MOST LIKELY A LIE, SO DONT INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE. Geez.

ok is this a joke? this adonai guy is a dork. i mean come on! back when i made styles i would go through a huge collection of wallpapers i had (most i didnt even get myself) and see what went good with the style. then i would add it to the style when i made it available for download. there is nothing wrong with that.

a line is crossed when someone TRYS to take credit for someone else work. the guys that made this hacked seer didnt do that. god, i wish more people would keep their opionion to them selfs. your discouraging them from trying to put together a good theme/style. that bothers me, i am using this hacked seer right now only b/c this guy went through the trouble of modding it so nicely.

just pick something else to ***** about.

Ah, man, this sucks... I just discovered Seer original and it kick a$$, I'm sure hacked would be awsome... I guess I'm too late.

Oh, and adonai, who are you to judge him? At least he made something people liked... Either say something good, say something constructive, or don't say anything at all...

Even though I'm as mad at adonai as anyone else (and I didn't even make or dl the skin) I have to agree with Qarth... How can you let just one or two misguided individuals discourage you from making something that is so obviously liked?

I hope your artwork is better than your math...that would be 35. You think only kids such as yourself enjoy pcs?

Not one wallpaper or winamp skin included, ok...better check the link http://www.themexp.org/uploads/vs/Seer.zip again. Nice to see the wallpaper has been renamed to give Dangeruss credit. That's all I ever complained about.

If you'd read half of what I said maybe you'd be a bit less vitreolic: "The original theme is beautiful, the port was done well"

Adonai, sure my math may have been wrong because I was just putting down a number, but you have no idea what you are talking about.

KoL made that version of seer with the wallpaper and winamp skin. If you would have taken the time to download my version you could have seen that. Mine is totally different than KoL's. He didnt put permissions in his. Why you *****in' at me, huh? Get your facts straight.

And for those that think its retarted that I took down the link, I did it because adonai is a *** and because Im making a new version with more colors. :D

It certainly wouldn't be the first time...I have never pointed fingers at anyone specific, just attempted to state the whole time that this wasn't gone about the right way in getting permission and giving credit...

I'm done, copy and port all you like, distribute others work...have fun

LOL, this guy just won't quit. He doesn't understand simple concepts, obviously. Maybe that's why he's 33... oops, 35!... years old, sitting at home on his computer 24-7. Please man, find something to do.
