E71
Hey guys. I recently installed some biometric security software which changed the way the Ctrl+Alt+Del login box looks. I was wondering if anyone knows much about the login system and which files are responsible for the classic ctrl+alt+del login box. Need to either change them back to original windows xp look or my own company logo. Thanks

Thanks 585304034[/snapback] as trance said, msgina.dll but be careful, if you run netware, it will install its own gina, and if you want to go back to fast user switching then you cant use the modded msgina.dll also, make sure you are @ sp2 patched (all 16 on top of sp2) before you mod the gina, as one of those patches a problem with the gina i did this for my corp load, deployed it to 400 pc's... works great... Pokit
Hello. I am trying to fix my ctrl alt delete menu also. i thought i had done it just fine, then i used replacer and replaced it, and rebooted. It looks just like i wanted it to - except windows added some annoying as hell BMP at the top for no reason at all... anyone have a clue why? here are the pictures of the reshacked stuff, and what the ctrl+alt+delete menu looks like. SS of when i reshacked : here Picture of what it actually looks like : here (i had to use photo editing and actually insert the MS bmp in that picture because i can't print screen when the CTRL ALT DEL window is open) hopefully someone knows the answer :) thanks for your time

It's the standard Win XP logo, but it seems to be too small for the dialog. the only way I can explain how it looks: title bar: Windows Security [blue space]XP Logo[blue space] can anyone help me get this back to normal? - angbunso
