Yep, look at the number of views for that thread. Timdorr actually disabled it yesterday because they were bringing the server to it's knees.

no neowin mysqld shut down quite a few times... i saw tons of mysql connection errors

the real number of view is over a million for sure

why did you have to stop the number from updating? there are number of things that you could do to fix the problem like force that page load in Lo-Fi mode.....
