I reformatted that computer, made a clean install and autopatched it on Thursday, and this morning I went to MU and installed everything. After a while I went on MU again, and this showed up. (The computer's not mine.)

Apart from that...

Shouldn't it be "AutoPatcher September"?

Update for Windows XP (KB924941)

Install this update to resolve timing issues resulting in race conditions when using Bluetooth devices connected via USB. This may occur when starting the system while the Bluetooth radio is turned on. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

Microsoft's Windows Media Player 11 will be available via free download beginning Oct. 24 for Windows XP.

IE7 final will be released October 18th, with the automatic upgrade push starting on November 1st.

My suggestion is to release a full october autopatcher on 25th!

And my suggestion is to definitely make the next version a Full.

WIE7, WMP11...

However, this can't be released as soon as WIE7 and WMP11 arrive, because they both (at least for now) require validation.

The solution will take some time.

If only M$ was so kind to help including WIE7 and WMP11 at all costs...

2) KB924941 - could access download page but not kb article to view and gather information

3) wga notifications v 1.5.708.0 - i have updated it to v 1.5.554.0, but i dont have a copy of v 1.5.708.0

What about KB892130? It's also 1.5.708.0 (I think).

^ i always get it for autopatcher through a 'redistribution page' rather than the public download page, are those links to the public copies or the redistributable ones?

redistributable

public are here:

Just a quick update - quickly reformatted and reinstalled WinXP last night to find links for KB892130 1.5.708.0 and KB905474 1.5.708.0 in WindowsUpdate.log. Been on MU, found KB892130, sent the link to Blaze so he can include it in the new AP, not found KB905474 AT ALL! So, since it's been dropped out of MU, I suggested him to drop it out of AP. It only causes problems, and since MU won't nag about it anymore, it's of no use.

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
