DustBuster 2.8.1

I had almost 500 megs freed. I was wondering the same thing so I opened up my Norton Protected Recycle Bin (I have Norton Utilities) and it showed exactly what was removed from my system. What was included was a lot of read-me files which isnt terrible, but I did notice that a few cab files were deleted from the i386 folder. I wasnt sure how important they were do I decided to recover every file deleted by this program. Until they give options as to which files I can choose to delete, I do not intend on using it again. I hope this info was useful to you.

Maybe someone can do this too to find what it deletes.

It took forever, so I went to sleep. When I woke up, the program window had disappeared. I'm going to my Norton-protected Recycle bin now. There were 1,500 files deleted, it seems. Most of them by Dustbuster. The largest was a 73.1 MB file called DRIVER.CAB, with a WinRAR icon next to it. From Driver Cache.

A 9.98 MB file called SETUP.EXE was deleted from C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\Setup

A 8 MB file called SHELL32.DLL was deleted from C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache (Application extension)

A 5.29 MB file called WMP.DLL C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache.

Then there were a bunch of several MB files that were deleted, mostly Dllcache.

I'm recovering the stuff. This program is dangerous.
