If that's all you see in NASCAR, I applaud your ignorance. Here's the door, don't let it hit your ass on the way out.

Jarrett proved he still has something left for the Nextel Cup this season. I can see him at least making the Chase For the Cup.

Gordon showed he can still win a race (not much doubt about that but...) and Stewart showed that he still is a hot headed jerk. The final lap of Daytona for the past 3 years has turned into a demo derby...why would he expect anything less?

/\ With Jimmy Johnson following Stewart all around the track blocking him then he deserved to get banged a little bit...

EDIT: Shouldn't this be merged with the Nascar thread that is pinned??

Stewart was blocking in the front for about 5 laps on both Jr. and Gordon. You cannot have it both ways. If he can block, then he can just as well be blocked.

He wasn't blocking anybody...he was holding the inside line like any driver can do, but he didn't follow them up the track when they attempted the pass. It's dangerous to hold up a faster car.

/\ Uhh no? Did you not watch the race? The fact is that the 20 car didn't try to block anyone from passing on the outside. He was running the fastest on the bottom of the track all day so he was staying there, thats alot different then running up the track to stay in front of a faster car in order to keep them from passing.

Greg Biffle led early in Sunday's Auto Club 500, lost a lap a bit later, then fought all the way back to the front. At day's end, Biffle cruised to his second Nextel Cup Series win in his past three starts. Jimmie Johnson finished second.
