stormfrog Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Ive downloaded a bunch of supposedly msstyles themes that does not have a .theme file. These are themes 1000s of people already have downloaded before me. But how can use them without a .theme file? They do not appear in Desktop Porperties without that file to put in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes, right? ARGH!!!! :pinch: What am I missing here? P.S Why doesnt Neowins uxtheme.dll (sp2) patcher work anymore? It worked a month ago for me. Now I have to use something called "StarSkin", anyone knows anything about StarSkin? kangxi Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 right, you should put it in its own folder,and ensure the folder have the same name with the .theme file. and copy the folder of your .theme to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes then you can select it in your control panal. here is an example: just like C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\imac\ if you still cant , that is out of my mind~~ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
