It worked in 7.6 Beta 1 IIRC :)

@Joseph, thats somthing Google did, not opera ;)

Google Maps and suggest now work with Opera, Google maps was all Google ;)

It didnt' really work right in Beta1. It looked wrong, some things didn't work right. The tabs didn't work right, for one. But now, it works RIGHT. :p

Ah, that's why poeple now say Gmail works with Opera. :pinch:

I haven't used this version yet, I'll have to wait until I boot into Ubuntu.

Gmail worked with Opera8BETA1 but used to give problems. In this version it works properly even though it shows small icons.

I guess it will be solved in the Final opera 8 which will be released soon :)

It's always worked with hotmail, just the emptying Junk Mail dialog didn't work ;)

I think Google Maps working isn't because of Opera doing something. It works in Safari today too, so Google must've update Google Maps.

Yes, it was a bit stupid since it always worked 100% from my experience.

And there was a trick to bypass it quickly too.

At the login screen, you just pressed Ctrl+Enter and it'd auto-fill the user/password fields (even if they were invisible, hidden by the "sign in anyway" thing!) and then auto-enter the site. So you went there, Ctrl+Enter, and you'd be in regardless of what Gmail complained about. :)
