You shouldnt. What I did was uninstall Opera Beta 1, and remove the folder from program files, and then just install Beta 2. Since the uninstaller doesnt delete the profile settings in another location on the computer, all your settings stay in-tact.

Sadly, the Macintosh version of Opera is pretty poorly done. The interface is slow, the application takes a long time to load, etc. You're better off using something like OmniWeb if you want a fully-featured web browser.

There's no point in uninstalling it first if you keep the old settings since the non-settings files will be overwritten anyway if you install it over. I just installed over B1 and it works fine.

Just use Opera, there you're using their 'rendering technology".

Opera runs on its own rendering engine, its called PRESTO.
