by avatarless do you mean no avatar at all? or do you want it to show ducks only? it would look a bit plain without the ducks. :p ..tell me what you guys want :)

hrm. i tried to follow the guide here: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=292458 and using smooth operator. but all i get is this:

strange is that IMG addresses in the html code are right!

Are you sure you activated support for external log?

you need to be using the latest tabsrmm version .9.9.6 or .9.9.7

edit: it works. can i remove the windowborder? and the grey background? how do i change it?

That's on my todo list when i get home :p ..won't be tricky at all just need to change some padding, etc. Will fix one small bug which i dont think anybody noticed yet along with the update ;)

EDIT: ah crap i forgot about my 2005th post :p ..the 2006th post will be the release of the new port and update for Smooth Operator. this will happen when i get home heh :p

the taskbarentry says "default". how can i remove it? also how can i remove the container surrounding this beautiful artwork?

Miranda > options > Message window > Containers

And you can remove the buttons and menu.

Just hide the titlebar (look the screenshot) or show the nickname in the titlebar.

i mean the windows taskbar entry. its like [default] yournamehere. if i remove it it's [] yournamehere.

Right clic on the taskbar button of the container or in the titlebar, container options > Show container name in the titlebar -> Never

did you extracted the all the files on the zip? do you have the same structure?

yes. i followed the readme.txt instruction.

i have this structure:

miranda

\smoothoperator

\smoothoperator.ivt

\scripts.js

\noavatar.jpg

\myavatar.jpg

\smoothoperator\font (font installed on system)

\smoothoperator\images

\smoothoperator\images\arrow.png

...

and all the other images

i obviously selected smoothoperator.ivt in the IEView dialog
