kinda looks like my old StyleWriter II manual box...

:ninja: It is actually a mint-condition Macintosh Classic, with manuals, stickers, all promotional materials, original packaging, and a $590 receipt for a 20 MB hard disk. Only been powered on twice... :ninja:

And finally mine :)

Not that customised, only a wallpaper that came with OS X and some desktop icons, added newest msn (that still doesn't support voice communication ) and some things in bottom bar. (it's a new iBook, almost never used so cannot really have been customised).

:ninja: My computer :ninja:

Perhaps I should clean today...

Are all of those monitors connected to the G3? Man, that many video cards (assuming that you are using the ones I see boxes for in the picture) must be putting a heavy strain on the poor power supply in there.

:ninja: Yes they are all hooked up to the same B&W. But I bet you that the 3 disk RAID I have inside it it killing the PSU a lot more than the vidcards LOL :ninja:

B&W G3

900/900/512k

896MB

2xRadeon 7000 PCI 64MB

Radeon 7000 PCI 32MB

Adaptec UW32 SCSI

WD 20 GB IDE

3xWD 4.5GB UW (Striped)

Hitachi 21"

3xCompaq 17"

All monitors in 1280x1024

Peripherals include:

52x Firewire CDRW

Kensington Black Keyboard

Kensington Optical Pro Mouse (worth the $149!)

and, of course, the stereo, which is:

Pioneer VSX-D307 5.1 Surround sound

2xKLH 5.25" 2-way bookshelf (200w)

2xLightning Audio 10" 3-way (250w)

Pioneer 12" downward firing powered subwoofer (250w)

...not to toot my own horn, but I live for my computer...

:ninja: Everyone that loves computers as much as I do should read this book:

Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution

It is all about the history of the Hacker Ethic and how it played a integral role in the development of microcomputers and Apple in particular...and it has done the best job of describing, in plain english, why I spend 18+ hours a day in front of a machine, and why a lot of the people I know do the same thing every day... :ninja:

Get a job in IT. That's the ticket. :D I made more than that every two weeks (NET) when I started out in entry level support 4

years ago. I've been a developer for over 3 years and I won't say what I make now but it's definately worth investing in tuition.

PS. I assume that you were quoting USD.
