Cool4
Hi everyone, i was trying to install my nvidia drivers and the readme said to kill X before installing by editing /etc/inittab so i did, but i put a '#' (comment) in the wrong place (last line of the file). I should've checked this topic before doing such a dumb thing  Anyway, now how can I boot into the console to solve this problem? Thanks in advance! Knight'
I guess you need to remove XDM from booting, I figure you run a graphical logon? Also edit your /etc/rc.conf and comment out the relevent bit. That way X won't run on startup.
