0 Galley
Biggest problem I have with "replacement" file managers is there's no way to actually replace Explorer with them, and you're still gonna wind up working with Explorer a lotta the time. If there was a way to do a complete replacement, that'd be awesome. 585623182[/snapback] PowerDesk has that as an option. http://www.v-com.com/product/PowerDesk_Pro_Home.html Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/297176-xplorer/page/2/#findComment-586594364 Share on other sites

0 Pallab
I had used Xplorer2 ro version. It is better than windows explorer. But it didn't go with my theme well.I had changed the icons using Icon packager and this soft was still showing the low res old icons. 0 Fred Derf Veteran Posted September 30, 2005 Veteran Share Posted September 30, 2005 I'll choose Windows Explorer because I work on many different computers and I only want to be used to something that I know will be there. I have some friends that are huge devotees to Total Commander. I had not heard about Xplorer? before. 0 jgutierrez
Since they rely in Windows API, I do not think they could show thumbnails in W2K. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/297176-xplorer/page/2/#findComment-586655809 Share on other sites

Its not very hard to open an image and resize into a thumbnail or take the first frame of a movie and resize it into a thumbnail.
