tmr250z
To get rid of the View Mode context at the bottom of the contact list, right-click on the Miranda's system tray icon, select Main-Menu>Frames>View Modes, and remove the check from 'Visible'. To disable the AIM icons on the right, open Options, in Contract List>Row Items, select the Extra Icons tab and remove the check from 'Protocol' and click Apply and OK. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589103697 Share on other sites
HT2791
Thank you for the view mode tip :] the icon tip however, the I already had everything disabled. Re-enabling the Protocal icon shows 2 columns of the same AIM icons. I guess I can live with the icons.. since they do tell me who's away or not Thanks again Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589103720 Share on other sites

threesixty
To get rid of the View Mode context at the bottom of the contact list, right-click on the Miranda's system tray icon, select Main-Menu>Frames>View Modes, and remove the check from 'Visible'. I don't have that Frames option. I'm using 0.7.3 version. In Main Menu I only have Find/Add Contacts, View/Change My Details, Options, MSN and Exit. Neighter any of this has the Frames Mode. kthxcubye Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589130252 Share on other sites

tmr250z
Alright, open Options. Go to Customize>Menus>MenuItems and make sure there is a checkmark next to 'Frames' as well as everything else in that section. Click Apply and OK. Hopefully it will be there now, if not, I don't know what else to try. :/ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589130841 Share on other sites

.AlleymaN
Once you have put a checkmark on 'Frames' in the options page and clicked OK, go back to your main window, right click to get the main menu, find 'frames' and unselect "visible" from any frame's submenu that you dont want to see. tmr250z
^^After you have enabled 'Frames' by making sure it is checked and have clicked Apply and OK, right-click on the Miranda system tray icon, select Main Menu > Frames > View Modes and remove the check that is next to 'Visible'. If this doesn't work, you need to ask for further assistance in the Miranda forums: http://forums.miranda-im.org/ Hopefully there someone will help you solve this problem. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589135425 Share on other sites

HipHopaholic
Hey Guys, I've been using the old old version of Miranda. I was wondering is it worth it to update to the current version. Also will all skins from the old old version be compatible with the new one? (Modern_clist themes, IE_View Templates, etc) Overall is the new version stable? .AlleymaN
Yes they are compatible, as long as you use the newer plugin versions. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/299261-miranda-customization-topic/page/75/#findComment-589190968 Share on other sites
Dorian
Hello I've got a question ... Is there any way to get avatars/icons working on this message window? (it's a TabSrmm skin) every contact has it's own avatar, but they're not showing at all. Yggdrasilly
Decided to switch back to Miranda last night, and installed IEView. [And TabSRMM, of course. Newest builds.] The thing is, I can't get IEView templates to show up. I've tried everything and the message windows still show the same default theme. I keep seeing posts in help topics that say something like "Make sure you go to Message Sessions>Message Log and enable 'Activate support for external log'." or something similar, but there's no such option. :/ Any ideas on what's going on?
