Amplifier and Speakers

Im looking for a nice amplifier (affordable) and some floor standing speakers but dont know where to get them from. Can anyone recommend good websites (UK)?

It depends what you call "affordable".

If I were you I'd go into your local Richer Sounds and ask them for their advice - they should be able to sort you out with something good, and that will fit your price range. They're pretty cheap, too.
