unlinear
Since all the cheery red, yellow, green and blue is getting on my nerves, i decided to convert some Mac OS X icon sets (love that alpha trans) to windows XP icons with alpha transparency. Now, to actually use them, I have so far tried three methods: IPhile, a little freeware app that has no native XP support (the preview it shows has the alpha transparent sections as black) that was able to change one icon once, but after that, no luck. IconPackager (StarDock), which decided to crash when I hit apply on the new theme. MicroAngelo on Display (ImpactSoft), which decided that my icons are not valid files. Granted, I touched up most of the icons with their competitors Product (IconXP) but it's still pretty freaky. So here I am, annoyed with the yellow folders of Windows as I am usually a week after a fresh install (YELLOW! why?).. what to do?

Also converted a few IconFactory sets and a few application icons from www.xicons.com and i've been able to use those without any problem.
