Forward hotmail email to gmail? possible?

I was wondering if anyone has been able to forward emails received in their hotmail account to their gmail account? I realize you could probably do this with POP but could someone explain how to do this

The onlyway would be to do them 1 by 1 manually (for all your old email)

For all your new mail, that would be impossible, since hotmail doesnt have auto-forward featrue,, atleast not the free version.

It doesn't work. You need to have POP access to Hotmail for that program to work.

GetMail is a mail forwarding program that started life because of the lack of POP3 availability for Hotmail

Note the 'because of the LACK of POP3' and not because 'you need' POP3!!
