Do drop shipping work?

Also dont the guys who run the site have to buy items in like 512mb ipod shuffles at ?10 to make any sort of profit when selling them to people who sign up for ?2:/:/

I cant see how they are able to buy ipod shuffles for a tenner each , and the 1gb they wud have to buy in at like ?15-20 each.....doesnt seem possible to me.

ipods fer ?10 come on guys i have a few wholesale trade accounts in my line of work and not even we get as good deals as this.

its called "the spratt to catch the mackerel"

and lets think objectively for a minute. Do you actually think that say Apple will alllow a company to buy their premium products at a fraction of the SRP, knowing that they are selling them at well below the market price.

If a bit of hardwares price is too good to be true you can 99% guaruntee that its a scam.

you get nothing for nothing in this life.

where would this company make any profit?

Hi everyone

I am new to this site. :) I have been reading through this topic and see that the website you are regarding to is the same one that I have been thinking of buying from. Of course, like everyone here I am a bit weary of its prices etc. However, id be willing to put some money in your scheme to see if they are what they say they are...

It just seems too good to be true but even if it is, it isnt as bad as putting in the whole ?60 membership that they want.

So count me in...

Yeah, only meant about the non-compete clause.  I happen to agree with this law because the consumer will get the lowest possible price.

I only agree with the law when it prevents the big companies, if its just two, three, four guys agreeing not to try and destroy each other by continually cutting prices then i think thats ok but it when high companies for example if apple and microsoft got together and decided to throw up their prices huge amounts then its wrong because they are the market leaders who have millions of customers.

Hi Everyone, I'm a new member here.

Been reading this board for a while and decided to go for it. I've just paid the ?60 membership fee and sent the application form. So now my account is on the 'pending waiting to be authorized thingy'. Let's wait and see what will happen.:rolleyes::

Assuming my account will be authorized and go off the pending, would anyone be willing to chip in and help me buy a ?44.99 ipod mini to see if they really deliver? If they do then I'll give it to my little sister as a birthday present and everyone can start making profi:cool:l:

I've been looking for a Drop shipper for a while now and this one seems way to good to be true, most offer goods at prices that cant even beat what is being sold on auction sites. But it does mean that some people are getting goods to sell at these sorts of prices i guess.

I phoned the number on the link given earlier for a similar looking site and that number is now disconnected. The number given on the Electrical Dropship site was answered eventually by a guy who runs a video production company and he knew nothing about selling stuff or why his number was on that site.

Gotta think this is a scam to get the ?60 ..good luck to those that paid...do let us know how u get on..but dont part with too much money.

Hi all, I'm new here. I have being reading your posts about this site. I decided to register and participate in your discussion.

First I would like to give some advices. Don't believe two things here.

1. Don't believe those who say yeah its true, do it, you make money bla bla bla, he might be that website owner or something.

2. don't believe those who say this is a scam, and beg you to stay away, because the site might be true and these people might be trying to make you not reigster so that you do not compete with them in ebay and other auctions and things. They are probably buying stuff from that site, but they don't want any one else to know.

I think the best way to find out is to call them yourself. It only takes 5 minutes and its easy to do.

I sent them an email this morning and here is their reply.

I just called them its about 18:20 and no one answered the phone. Its probably because its quite late or this is not their phone number.

by the way don't listen to those people who say "stay away from dropshippers which charge you for membership fee". Some dropshippers charge this membership fee to keep them away from people signing up for a single order and things like that:):)

I have seen a few things about drop shipping and wondered whether they work also, and am interested to know. I have a few link/ebooks the are to do with dropshipping and will have to look through them.

@ shycho - (For the bolded bit) I think the phrase you were after was "Way to go".

Well they make money by you paying them ?45 for the ipod? or in other words they make money when you buy an item from them. it must be some kind of commision thing, they might charge the manfucaturers for every item we order.

The only thing here that doesn't add up is that SHAV, violettals, and gowser have all signed up after one of you told the site owner about this forum.

Shav is being devils advocate

Violettals signed up after everyone else and all of a sudden is being approved

Gowser has his own site up and ready to sell cheap goods

All smells rather fishy to me.
