2007 Cadillac Escalade

You do realize there is a *huge* surplus of oil, and many deposits have not even been tapped as of yet. We'll have at least enough for the next two years or so, don't worry. You'll have more than ample oppurtunity to annoy the general public with your "blarin 1000 watt speacers".

lol but still it wont last forever and that v10 engin is going to use more gas.

So what if someone wants to drive an escalade with a V12...it's their choice and if they can afford more power to them. I don't like the escalade but I won't be telling others not to drive them.

Also I'm not sure if the escalade is made on the platform as the suburban (like a lot of GM based cars are but actually the Hummer2 is nothing more than a new shell on top of a Chevy Suburban. One of the best marketing schemes ever. "hey buy a Hummer, shh don't say anytihng about how it's practically a chevy suburban." Says the GM executive

So by your account, we should never question what someone does. Rather we should just accept everyone as they truly are, and not push them to be more introspective, thoughtful, reflective, or educated.

If we all live the way you claim to, we will find it truly difficult to move society forward.

but still though.....should we think about the enviroment a LITTLE BIT?!?...I mean come on...a V12? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO DRIVE IT AT?!? I mean come on, you obviously won't take it off road because...well....who wants to scratch the paint..:p...and when you drive it around the city...30% of the gas will be used JUST SO YOU CAN GET STUCK IN TRAFFIC...it's like...burning money...

Yeah us Americans are stupid....not.....yes we like big cars and we like them pimped with the stereo blaring out of the car! Also we try not to pollution but people that own companys for bad things pollute the air not us good people .

you try not to pollution?

guess where most pollution comes from?

"good people" like yourself.

if you want a car with lots of sound, then get a Scion and put some big speakers in there. No use ruining a nice car with that kind of crap. the cadillac escalade simply shouldnt exist.if you want to seat a lot of people, get a minivan like normal people. if you want a nice pimp-mobile, then you need to learn about a little thing called "class". If you are trying to make up for your inadequacies by having a big and loud car, well then you are an idiot.

Yes, but you're forgetting the most important aspect; you'll look rich, *and* ignorant, all with minimal effort on your part. What could be better? And to top it off, imagine how much "1000 watt speacers" would improve that image tenfold?

Food for thought: Most nice cars on the road are rentals.

In areas of the United States where SUVs are still cool, the majority of nice cars are rentals.

nope, i see people with about 5 or 6 luxury cars in their multi-million dollar homes. they ussually have an SUV for the mom, a sports car for the dad, a truck for the son, and a convertible for the daughter, and then a couple other cars "just in case". thats not counting the RV's , jetskis and the yachts...

Wow, that's right on. You just perfectly described one of my best friend's family. Just left out the cross-over SUV for the second son.

The people you just listed are not necessarily cool. Wealth doesn't necessarily equate to an understanding of where the edge is (aka cool). It's much more difficult to set the trend, than it is to ride the one that has just passed by.

    • Microsoft about to radically change how often your Edge browser updates by Paul Hill Microsoft has just announced that starting with Edge 152, it will be moving to a two-week release cycle for faster, smaller updates. This faster release cadence will begin on August 27. This change comes just several months after Microsoft switched Visual Studio Code to weekly updates. The company said that the Extended Stable releases will remain on an eight-week cycle and that no admin changes are needed to experience the faster release cycle on the Stable channel. The new two-week release cycle will enable the faster delivery of security updates and platform improvements, all while reducing the size and complexity of individual updates. Microsoft claims that organizations will benefit from this change as it offers predictable validation cycles. For organizations that prefer a “more deliberate pace”, the Extended Stable channel remains an option. This change will affect Edge Stable releases on Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile. The Extended Stable channel will continue to be updated every eight weeks, or every fourth Stable release, for example: versions 152, 156, 160, and 164. The Extended Stable could be a good option for organizations that don’t want the latest updates twice a month and don’t want as much hassle constantly updating browsers. In the case of Visual Studio Code, many of the updates being pushed by Microsoft are AI-related. As we all know, Microsoft Edge has a lot of AI features, so we could see Microsoft pushing more AI, thanks to the faster cycles. On the flip side, quicker releases could mean faster security updates, which is beneficial in a world where AI systems are hunting for software exploits. What do you think? Let us know in the comments. For more updates on Edge, be sure to follow Neowin's coverage. In May alone, we reported on Edge offering in-browser pop-ups to assist users with website compatibility issues, that Edge was losing Copilot Mode, and that Microsoft had fixed a plain-text password bug in Edge. • not yet, because at the moment it is not a threat to MS, if and I mean if it did become a threat to MS Office, then it may be a different thing. MS don't like competition
    • Zen Browser 1.21b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. • I am currently using a 4tb stick in combination with a 4tb 9100 Pro. It's only been six months since I bought them but the 990 has already dropped 1% health. Fingers crossed it doesn't go any lower.
