i really wouldnt have thought so....

what would be the reason? its already pretty much the cheapest flash player on the market, and if you want more space they have the ipod mini.

the only thing i hope they update is the powerbook, really need to get the mobility 9800 in it before i buy one.

It's highly unlikely that Apple will update the Shuffle to coincide with the release of Tiger. They are completely unrelated products. Tiger comes with the same version of iTunes as Panther does.

iPods are typically upgraded every 10-12 months. So I'd expect a 2G Shuffle in 1Q 2006. This also means we should expect a 5G iPod in the Fall - although it is also likely the iPod will be dropped in favour of the iPod photo from now on too...
