ZZOOzzoo
Since you said something about lack of AD-blocker with Opera, I thought I'd post some links about ad-blocking with Opera. http://www.monroeworld.com/operafilter/ https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=160967 http://snbx.net/php/viewtopic.php?t=

megamanXplosion
Right-click and then "Customize". Once that's done, move your main toolbar buttons (back, forward, reload, etc.) to the toolbar with Open, Save, Print, etc.

Packet1009
right click - > open in background? also if you are moving from mozilla or IE, i found this page on the opera site to be awesome: http://portal.opera.com/startup/customize/ keyboard maps especially EDIT: as goes the cookies, kiwi (cookies kiwi - sorry, just had to do that), choose not to delete new cookies while exiting opera. you might want to tweak your cookie settings to be say 'first party - accept all, third party - refuse all' Edited April 20, 2005 by Packet1009

I want a toolbar acroos the top for my bookmarks....just like firefox can do. Example: Also I figured out how to kind of have an adblocker in opera...kerio personal firewall has an ad filter in it. EDIT: Also I do I move whole toolbars around? I want to move the tab toolbar to the bottom of the toolbars like the picture so the order is address then bookmarks then tabs. How do I do this? How do I do this? 585802868[/snapback] 1: when you go into the customize tool bar area (right click address bar>customize) you'll see all the tool bars. check "personal bar". there will be default stuff on it, remove it. select ok. then open bookmarks and right click on one of the folders or links you want there. select properties and check "show on personal bar" for each of the items you want displayed. 2: about getting that setup, follow what i told kiwi earlier by transfering everything from address bar to main bar, then uncheck address bar. STNG
I think that Opera 8.0 eating more RAM/Virual memory than Opera <=7.54. It's not good :( It's very very bad :(
Altered State of Consciousness
Mine's not too bad - the great thing is, in my closed window list , I can go to any page and it will show up instantaneously (or damn close). I love Opera's memory caching, and IMO it is worth it for the benefits you get. Edit: Sorry to stir up an old thread - I'm new here and was just searching through the forums and found this. :D Edited May 14, 2005 by Altered State of Consciousness
