AaronPrometheus
Getting tooltips to stop hiding behind the taskbar. Have you ever rolled your mouse over an icon or the clock in the system tray or an open window and see the tooltip come up behind the taskbar? Annoying isn't it. In Win9X/Me/2000 this can be remedied by using the resize cursor to drop the taskbar into the bottom of the screen then bringing it back. However, in Windows XP with the advent of Luna you need to adopt a new strategy. Chances are this is happening because you have locked the taskbar. You'll need to unlock it then lock it again to get the tooltips to showup. After doing this you might need to click on the gray of the taskbar to activate it's senses. Don't you just love how easy Windows is to use? Hate my tips? Tell me to stop and I'll shut up ;)
