shhh..... I'm trying to keep a low profile

I'm sure a lot of people notice my name but no one ever says anything about it. For being one of the few you have won a prize :D One large free nude pic has been sent your way

I don't have a problem with nudity/being nude, but I would not post a picture of myself nude online. I have absolutely no reason to do so. What's the purpose of having a nude picture of yourself in public domain? I'm not a model, so I have no reason to promote myself in that way...

I suppose if for some reason a photographer wanted me to pose nude I would, and if it was going online for a legitimate purpose like his online portfolio (artistic) I wouldn't have a problem with it... but that is a highly unlikely scenario.

The thing I don't get is why people post nude pictures of themselves in their Blogs or on similar sites (MySpace, for example). Some of them actually are artistic and not necissarily pornographic, but I just don't see the point. You never know who will look at that and get the wrong ideas in their heads. I mean, would you just stand naked on a street corner and let people stare at you and try to talk to you and get your number, etc.?

Yes. I'd love to be able to stand on the street corner naked without fear of being assaulted or arrested.

The answer: Some people get off on it. They not only dont care about being seen nude, they love the high they get from being seen. I'm a bit of an exhibitionist myself, but only with certain people. I can understand why people would do something like that since it is kind of exciting, but I personally wouldnt do it in a public forum like that because 1) I'm terrified of me being nude in public anywhere and 2) I might regret it if I become a public figure someday or lose a job because of it.

A friend of mine posted a pic of herself to a guy she met online who then sent it to everyones address he had got from her when she once sent an email to number of friends including him. None of us bring it up when we see her lol she posed well :pinch:

What does homosexuality have to do with this?

So all women who're showing off in sexy outfits are lesbians? *sigh*

Anyway, I'd personally not really want to do that :)

Not that I'd care if people would like the pictures or not, but imagine if someone you knew somehow found the pictures and recognized you.

Now that would be The Ultimate Embarrasment. :ninja:

Hey, it wouldn't be the ultimate embarassment for me... I am packing plenty and proud to show! :) LOL

are you by any chance gay?

Nope, not gay.

I have no problem with people recognizing me. Generally, if someone IRL wants to see me naked, and I don't think they're goign to either film me and profit from it, or ask me for sexual reasons, I'll do it.

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
