Hi guys! Your'e being very nice with all these pretty words. Thanks a lot for you feedback.

Some explanations:

Duckie: My partner, if I don't ask for put the file in your site, is because i read your last notice (btw, that's very sad), and i don't know if your'e online at this moment. Of course that will be a honour be hosted by you.

Cjohn: Do you mean the link shortcuts on the existing images, or an all new zoomer with your own icon and link? If the answer is the first one, you can do it clicking right over an image and selecting "Set Target". If is the second one, then you'll need build a new zoomer using a icon of your choice, wich isn't very hard but is very extensive for explain. Some guy here put a link to an tutorial, maybe he could post it again, or you could dive in the past threads.

About a Dock for different resolution: That's very possible and, in fact, very easy to do. Wich resolution dou you prefer, 1024x768?

I'm trying to decide wich icons must be deleted from the dock in order to make it shorter (for the 1024x768 resolution).

The simplest decision is to throw away the Documents folder and the Pictures folder, because both of them are representated in the Home PopUp, but, what happens if you don't like to use the pop up?

Please help me to decide on.

besiboyz... did you rip your avatar from jsutton's icon?

I copied your avatar and flipped it horizontally... looks EXACTLY like jsutton's icon. Did u get permission or talk to him? I honestly couldn't care less, I'm just worried that jsutton might be offended if you ripped his icon and flipped it and used it as ur avatar... dunno.

I bet you could get rid of the Getright and Pictures icons since the My Pictures folder is just an extra click through the Documents link.

question about your osx dock ice-man. it's one of the best i have seen so far, but i was wondering if some improvements could be made. you know how on osx when you scroll across the bar the icons get bigger, and when you move away from them they fade back to their original size? well with this dock when you move away from an icon it doesn't fade, it just goes straight to the original size. i don't know if this can be done yet, just pointing it out. another thing is that some parts of some icons hide behind the icons next to it, and some are all the way out in front. shouldn't all of the icons, when mouse is over them, move in front of the other icons? know what i'm trying to say? what about some sounds? :) oh!! another thing, how do i delete some icons and add other ones? anyways, great job so far man!

There is a basic PDF here:

http://www.hammerheadtech.net/deadzombie/

There are also more objects for the dock as well. The site has the dock and objects from DeadZombie, who is the person that inspired Iceman.

Iceman's Itunes and computer pop-up are better though, so don't worry about the ones on the deadzombie page. (even deadzombie is using iceman's controls!)

iceman, hope you don't mind me putting the link. e-mail me if you want me to take it out...

Hi Snively. I'm not sure of what exactly is happening, because in this dock the icons must decrease to the original size when the mouse move away (in a five steps animation)... maybe there is a little bug, but in my desktop all are looking fine. Anyway, letme check it and I'll post a fix if I find the problem. About the icon front/behind issue, I don't know the cure yet, (in fact, I think that it's impossible simply because the layer order just change when you press your mouse). This is a DesktopX issue, so there is very little chance of fix. However, thanks for your comments.

Kame: I'm using a theme that I found several months ago so I can't remember where you can find it. But tell me if I can send it to your inbox and I'll be glad doing it. Cheers.

Dlmonen: Of course there is no problem, thanks for you comments.

I wrote a little tutorial for learn how to make your own custom zoomers. I promise a HTML version (including the PSD file for download) tomorrow so please be patient.

In order to make "hiddeable" the dock, you can right click over the dock bar, select Properties -> Relation and in "Layer Order" select "Desktop". This will show the dock just like another window.

If you want a larger version of one of my 'older' docks, look at Deskmod. Those objects start at 64x64 and go up to 128x128.

I started making all my objects 48x48->128x128 for people with smaller resolutions (800x600), plus, at higher res you can fit more objects on a dock.

If you want a few objects that are really nice (not saying anyone elses aren't, just that these I'm recommending are), then bug Y/C with an email (he'll kill me!). He has a personal dock that is smooth as butter, with original objects you won't find anywhere else (oh he's gonna hate me for this !:D )

I haved everything looking like MacOS X on my computer except that I need a shell32 and msgina...I love the way yours looked in your screenshot...if you dont mind, could you email it to me? [email protected]. If not, do you have an idea of when you might post it or where I could get one until you do? Thanks.

i read on the stardock website about some of the features that will be in the new windowfx2, and it looks like there will be a way to do the genie effect (using scripts, i think) on the dock bar. has anyone else read into this?

amilcar i'm dying to make some zoomers! you said something about an html tutorial? :)

i'm also anticipating those dlls. i tried doing it myself, but the damn thing just isn't taking. the .cpl's and stuff are all edited. oh well, i'll wait for your release.
