HI guys, sorry for the lack of updates... I've working very hard on my shell32.dll and the cpl files, so the release will be soon. The theme (visual style), WinAmp skin and icons used in my screenshot will be add to the downloads so please be patient.

The html tutorial for make your own zoomers will be finished later, I'm sorry :(

It's a lot of work and my butt is screaming of pain!

See you soon.

My new dock to go with the theme Y/C and I are working on.

Click the pic and it will get big!

First, most of the objects are under copyright: I will not answer requests for this dock.

Next, they've got killer transperancy and the 6 step 'smooth' animation I attribute to Y/C's docks. Gives the dock a little more play, a little more realistic feel.

And for everyone that wants 128x128 icons on the desktop but smaller everywhere else...just make yourself some static objects at whatever size you desire.

The theme is currently called Quantum (may be called Ten for a number of reasons.); a beta will be out soon.

have the msgina.dll and the shell32.dll already been released?

Not yet! I have it almost finished, maybe tomorrow. There is a few issue with the shell32.dll (the size is 24 mb when I edit it in MicroAngelo, but 14 when I do it in ResHacker), but nothing for worry about it.

I'll release THE COMPLETE SET of system files tweaked! (37 files)

ok, first off, don't start squirming about me being able to find the answer to my question by searching the forums because frankly, if you can go to the trouble to say that, then you should be able to take the time out and make a very extensive FAQ for each program rather than just whining. ok, now down to business. i'm using iceman's dock, which is very nice, and i was wondering if there was anywhere i could get some other icons for it, such as photoshop, etc, and if the animations would still work for it? lastly, is there anyway to widen the dock image? actually, i think i just remembered DZ's site having a bigger version, but let me know anyways. thanks in advance

Ok, Holmz.

To answer your question, yes there are many dock objects available only to Neowin members that I myself have created. Over 200+ objects in fact. An entire webpage.

Yes, there are ways to tweak everything in desktopX.

I have created a faq, and I've helped about 90% of the desktopX users that visit this site, so...

Search for it yourself. Finding the dock objects here at Neowin is so easy you couldn't even begin to imagine. And as for in-depth, easy to understand tutorials? If you can't figure that out...well, I'll be nice.

Here, let me give you a push in the right direction...

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?

    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it.
