Should the post count/Stars be removed

I think they should be kept. I understand why some people want them removed though.

I don't think they should be removed, cause it is a forum after all. Spam level low here, and 90% of people with lots of posts also write posts that contribute and help people.

:laugh: Post count -- YES -- Keep the stars. I think post count should be hidden in the profiles to discourage useless posting. But some level of recognition is good with the Stars. :happy:

I like the post count, and join date, because it helps to see who the spammers are. Some people have been here a year or more, and barely have a thousand. Some have been here six months or less, and have a thousand+, and then they brag about in "Milestones"!

I like the rate threads thing more. Maybe the average of the user's post ratings could be incorporated or something.

No it shouldn't.... while it would reduce the spamming... it'll make it harder to know the reputation or credibility of a member
