curling

i watched a curling match over dinner and it was awesome!

its pretty neat. anyone else interested in it? i mean... i wont be a hardcore fan but the game seems really strategic and needs a lot of good teamwork.

ive watched it on tv once when i was bored, it looks like a fun game to play :) but all that brushing seems wasted to me, they could be sweeping my garden :p

I actually just played curling last week. A group at school took a Toronto trip, and one place we stopped at was a curling club. It is a difficult but fun sport. Some think it owuld be boring, but I would prefer it over bowling!

I played curling during gym class in high school, I found it pretty fun. Then I started watching it sometimes. I quite like it

Curling is like crack....once you watch it once you have to have more...I really like watching it on television. It's rarely on, but when it is I can't change the channel to save my life. :) Down here we have "shuffle board" and that about the closest thing to it. shuffle board+40lb rocks+ice= me sitting in front of the TV in a stupor.

I hate to admit it,, but I know what you mean. Once you watch it for a few minutes, you can't seem to take your eyes off it.

it clears the debris and frost and also creates a thin film of water o the ice, which makes the rock glide over it easier. With brushing you can direct the rock where it needs to go and make it travel further if it wasn't thrown hard enough.

if anything sweeping's the most important aspect of curling
