A list from me:

1. Smaller "small thumbnails" of contacts dp, maybe 2/4px bigger than the offical MSN skin

2. Contact closer together

3. No ad at bottom, that defeats the point of a skin

4. Make it look less "flat" differnt shades making it look 3D like the default msn skin

1. They seem to be in proportion with the rest of the skin

2. Personally i like the space between each contact, easy to read

3. It doesnt defeat a purpose of a skin, and you can take it out anyway, read the installation properly!

4. Personally i like how its flat, and the 2 tones of colours complement eachother very well

This is great and all but when you install the aqua blue one it doesn't get rid of the ads... it puts some smiley's ad there. The standard blue one does get rid of the ads... can u please fix this or at least tell me how to res hack it so I can have the aqua blue colour without the ads!!!!!!!!

people need to do a CLEAN install of Messenger version 7.0.0813. I assure you no trickery has been included. The option to remove ad's does indeed remove ad's provided you use a FRESH install of the latest version available at messenger.msn.com

I've tried everything mate.... this is what happens for me:

-Blue version = no ad

-Aqua Blue version = ad

How can I fix this?

what other options are you installing ? - Polygammy etc...

one other thing... did you do a repair of messenger before changing the colour ? the installer wasnt designed to go over an already patched version.

It's fresh.... the options I use are

-mess.be games

-disable nudge protection

-disable file transfer protection

-disable contact list ad

It just seems a little odd that it will remove the ad for Blue but will not remove the ad for Aqua Blue (Which is the colour I prefer)

im looking into it... its a problem with the installer so it shouldnt be that difficult to get fixed.

Thanks dude, do you mind PM'ing me when it's done because I REALLY like this skin... it happens to be the first MSN Skin I've liked enough to use.

Until ALL smiley central ads are removed i wont install this.. and it is a good skin too.

Good work!

It doesnt install any smiley central software on your computer. it is simply an ad. a graphic. if you dont want it read the installer carefully when installing.

I really love this skin.. I don't have any problem except for the aqua blue ad.

The rest is perfect.. the flat look is just a personal thing if u ask me. I love it the way it looks.

Mayb you should only fix the long contact name bug and other functional bugs. Mayb some mouseovers for the text which only changes the color. No need voor extra 3d stuff that will just take a way the smooth look of this skin and make it look more like the standard msn 7 look and that is just what we don't want :)

Great skin! :D

Finally ive managed to get it out the door, you've all seen screenshots and heard promising comments, but until now its been kept pretty quiet... Until now :) . Wave11 is a combination of everything ive learn about skinning messenger, and i hope all my hard work pays off. I suggest you have a CLEAN install of version 7.0.0813 before installing.

Wave11 comes in 6 colours, so there's something for everyone, you'll find a screenshot of the default blue Here.

Head on over to afizicalpresence to get your copy.

Spread the word as much as possible, but i ask you only link to www.afizicalpresence.com . We need traffic for future development so you'd be doing us a great favour.

Enjoy - The Unknown

Nice work. Is it for 7.0.0777 or 7.0.0813????

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
