Colin-uk Veteran Posted May 7, 2005 Veteran Share Posted May 7, 2005 Download Apache Server, PHP, MySQL & Wordpress Install them all (they all come with install instructions) Run the Apache Server, Start the Mysql service Setup your router if you have one to open the correct ports Configure your firewall to let people access your server Run Wordpress installation as normal.. Or alternativly get a cheap host and just do the last step (you dont even have to do that if the host has fantastico - which most good hosts do) Its up to you, but i would say the last option is a LOT Easier.. :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
