PrimoTurbo
Just tried Opera and it seems to load pages a little faster and much smoother, I don?t get little hiccups that I always get with firefox:):) I might consider switching to Opera fulltime if I can get certain things working, my big problem is with logins not being saved. For example if I login into neowin and then leave in firefox then when I come back I will stay logged in until I remove my cache/cookies but with opera I?m logged out and I have to relogin using the Wand. Anything I can do to stay logged in? Also is there anyway I can get a separate tab-close button so I can close any current tab with out moving my mouse to the tab?s close button. This is what I mean, notice I have an x to close each tab and the regular firefox tab close button to close the current tab. Just makes it easier if you have a million tabs open and you don?t want to go for each one. Thanks for you help, hopefully I can make the switch. serafins
I acctually want both check "show X on each tab" option and create a button to close active page by editing your toolbar .ini file ( default: ...\profile\toolbar\standard_toolbar (1).ini ) [Customize Toolbar Custom.content] Button#, "Close"="close page, 1", , "Close", "X" # is a number, set as 0 if no button under [Customize Toolbar Custom.content] restart Opera, drag & drop the created "Close" button from "Appearance > Buttons > My buttons" to the position u like. BTW Mouse gesture : hold right button, move down then right hold right button, move right left right Keyboard shortcuts : Ctrl + W Ctrl + F4 Edited May 15, 2005 by serafins

PrimoTurbo
Thanks serafins that works well, however I have a problem with tab order now :( Is there anyway I can close the last tab to the right instead of the last tab I visited. For example I open 3 websites Tab1 - Neowin Tab2 - Google Tab3 - Gmail If from the Neowin tab I go to Gmail, when I close Gmail I go back to Neowin instead of Google. This is can be a big problem for closing many tabs at once. Also is there any chance I can use a different graphic for the close button? Like the delete one? 1 more thing, anyway I can get a go button after the address bar? So I click it instead of always having to press enter. Thanks again. jp10558
Okay I almost have everything perfect except the tab order, anyone have any idea how I can fix it? 585927519[/snapback] I'm not sure there is a solution for the tab order. My understanding is that there is a continuing issue on the Opera forums. It's basically because Opera is MDI, not tabbed, so the windows stack. When you close one, you see whatever is under it, the last page you looked at. I'm not really sure if there is a windows limitation here, or if it's something Opera Software is working on, or what. Suffice it to say it doesn't bother me much. I think there are some kludges on the customize Opera forums at my.opera.com/forums, but I think they don't work perfectly.
