[Definitive] Sony PS3 Thread

Recommended Posts

Nintendo's next gen console will be 3-4 dvd cases thick and slightly longer.

At least that's what I heard.

The PS3 controller hmmmm

XBOX controller mmmm ok

OMG is that SSS in PS3? (looking at E3 video)

Im sorry but the XBOX 360 looks like a wing pad or something.

If you think the PS3 is uglier than that you got problems. (not trying to compare but comeon)

And crap the PS3 is slightly bigger than the XBOX (maybe they'll shorten it by spring)

Go to the SONY Japan site and check the PS 3 out they have almost all angles except some stupid ones. Anyways the PS3 does have vents I dont wanna post the picture but here's a link http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/050517_e.html

check out the weird camera shot one to see the vents

I hope it doesn't cost 80 trillion dollars to get one.

ITs not Going to be The only Controller You'll Be able to use, There Will be others With different Design etc. Plus The Xbox360 Looks like a design that came from Nickelodeon.

The fact that you watch Nickelodean is sad enough but to add insult to injury you're insulting a controller for having multi-color buttons. Your parents must be so proud!

no worries buddy, it doesn't matter if you buy a PS3 or the Xbox 360.. it's all about the fun, let's just enjoy this time cuz this something to celebrate!!!    :woot:

Agreed. I will be happy with my Xbox360 purchases and I hope everybody else will be happy with theirs. :)

For those anti-ps3 pro-nintendo people among us.

Is there any reason why you are posting this here rather then the official Nintendo thread other then to troll?

Funny how all the xbox fanboys were the ones posting the **** poor photoshop refrigerator and grill pictures.

It had relevance to the topic if you were reading along...

Heh, and yes no one will win but its always fun to try and make people realize that there stubborn resolve to stick with something is blindness...I'm not saying people sticking with microsoft or stubborn or anything as things can still change.

A user commented on how he thought the nintendo was gonna be the greatest or something along those lines and be beautiful and such so I commented from memory on how I thought I heard it was going to be quite small and thus not having much room for 'Beautifulness' then, later, I backed up that vague memory with a factual article.

never take jokes at a personal level buddy... this forum is supposed to be one of the friendliest forums on the net. we came here and post those pics just have some fun at your expense same as you guys did when the Xbox came out and you all were saying the Xbox was huge and ugly and so on... now Sony is the one with the huge and ugly design. but as I said before just ignore those comments and enjoy your god giving right of freedom of speech. few people in the world can enjoy such privilege... :)

Someone please note the usb connection on this controller - maybe you won't have to worry so much about the 24 hour battery life, seeing as how there are 4 ports in the front of the PS3, and perhaps rechargeable batteries? I'm interested in the aforementioned new controller's improved vibration functions...that's something the Wavebird didn't have, for one, which would indicate why it won't last as long as the Wavebird's 100 hours...

I watched the e3 press conference on gamespot and it sounded like he said 512 mb for vram...

Edit - look at the t-flops not the GHZ which is the same... xbox has 1 ps3 has 2 1x2=2...

585931285[/snapback]

It's has access to a maximum of 512mb, but it'll never be able to use all that, because 256mb is used for the system AND vram and another 256mb is used for graphics use only. The most impressive thing that I find about playstation is it's ability to utilize 2 TVs. Also, it has 6 USB ports, meaning that there are more possibilities with the console.

That prototype image of the PS3 looks nice. Too bad it'll be released in Spring 2006. I can't wait for it to come out. Damn, I want to see both those consoles in action. I don't want to regret not buying the Xbox360 if I buy the PS3, and the other way around. Can't forget about Ninteno Revolution too. I'm only willing to pay for 1 console, not 2 or 3.

    • RevPDF 4.5.0 by Razvan Serea RevPDF is a free, fully offline PDF editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you edit text and images directly inside PDF files — no internet connection, no account, and no cloud uploads required. Unlike bloated alternatives that demand subscriptions and constant connectivity, RevPDF fits in under 60MB on desktop while delivering a complete editing toolkit: annotate, redact, sign, compress, split, merge, convert, and reorganize pages, all processed locally on your device. Smart font matching ensures edited text blends seamlessly with the original, and multi-language support includes RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Where most PDF editors force you to choose between features and simplicity, RevPDF manages both. You can build interactive forms from scratch with text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, permanently redact sensitive data before sharing, draw freehand on contracts and diagrams, and add custom watermarks — all without a single file leaving your machine. Edit Text and Images Directly Inside PDFs RevPDF supports true inline PDF editing — not just annotation layers on top of a document, but actual modification of existing text and images within the file. A smart font-matching engine identifies the font used in the original document and applies it automatically when you make edits, so changes blend naturally with the surrounding content. You can reposition elements, resize images, and update text across single pages or entire documents. RevPDF 4.5.0 release notes: This is one of the biggest updates to RevPDF yet. A lot of things people have been asking for are finally here. New Features Auto Redaction Permanently redact sensitive text and areas from your PDFs before sharing. Clean, irreversible, and fully offline. Comments, Links & Bookmarks Add comments for review, insert clickable links, and create bookmarks to jump around long documents without scrolling forever. Find & Replace Search across the whole document and replace text in one go. Long overdue. Split Pages Vertically or Horizontally Split any page down the middle, vertically or horizontally. Perfect for scanned books or double-page spreads. New Drawing Tools More tools for freehand drawing and markup, better for annotations, sketches, and detailed notes. Continuous Scrolling in Editor The editor now scrolls continuously through pages instead of jumping between them. Working through long documents is a lot smoother now. PDF Metadata Editor View and edit the metadata stored inside your PDFs, including title, author, subject, and keywords. Better Font Matching Text edits now blend in more naturally by doing a better job of matching the original font. Tabbed PDF Viewer Open multiple PDFs at once in tabs and switch between them without going back to the home screen. Add Links Insert hyperlinks anywhere in your PDF, to external URLs or to other pages within the document. Share & Print Shortcuts Share or print directly from the editing screen, home screen, and viewer. No extra steps. Minor Updates Paste images directly from clipboard into your PDF New image editing tools for more control over images inside documents Bug Fixes Fixed file saving issues on Windows and Linux Everything still works fully offline. No login, no cloud, no account. Your files stay on your device. • Interesting. I'm not using a VPN with my phone. I tried though my home internet (Rogers) and my cellular internet (Telus) using their respective DNS servers and both trigger the dialog above.
